My name is Boris Morović and I am a Croatian Michael Jackson Impersonator and
Tribute Dancer. Why both the impersonator and a tribute dancer, you ask?
Impersonator is a person who identifies with someone and strives to appear as
the person they imitate, while being a tribute dancer I pay tribute and respect
to a person through my dancing.
When I first heard 'Billie Jean', I wanted to see the video, because I was
completely blown away by the song. I used to listen to it about 10 times a day
and I never got bored by it. When I saw the 'Billie Jean' live performance, the
dance fascinated me and influenced me to try and learn how to moonwalk. It was
the 'Billie Jean' video that motivated Boris to dance and eventually become the
Michael Jackson Tribute Artist.

to try and learn the moonwalk. It took him about 2 months to master it.
After his successful take on the 'Billie Jean' choreography, he studied other
numbers. It took him 2 years to learn the other MJ signature moves. This is how
the dancing began. The strive for perfection is the force behind Boris'
determination and motivation.
As a contestant in the 'Super Talent' show, which is a Croatian version of the
widely popular 'Britain's Got Talent', Boris gave an electrifying performance in
the semi finals (November 06, 2009) and once again confirmed that he is a talent
to be reckoned with.
The best is yet to come!
In order to be able to
perfect the dance, I decided that I wanted to know more about Michael Jackson as
well. I realized that 95% of all the things that I read or saw on TV were
completely false, and that in the end, he was a completely different person.
This is when I became a true
Michael Jackson fan. Michael fascinated me in all aspects, from his dancing and
singing, beatboxing, composing and writing, live performances and his short
films, to his humanitarian efforts. Michael was and always will be my idol.
It's difficult for me to pick an era that I like the best, but if I had to, it
would be the Dangerous era because of the tour. Michael seemed so explosive and
powerful back then. This era, in my estimation, produced some of his greatest
work ever.
My favorite songs are 'Billie Jean', 'Heal The World', and 'Wanna Be Startin'
Somethin''.
